If you like any of the following you will enjoy this album: bass guitar, grooves, fusion jazz, world music, orchestra. There are several classic songs on this that any fan of jazz bass really should be familiar with, for instance a recording of Miles Davis and Charlie Parker's Donna Lee for solo bass with conga accompaniament and the Jaco standard Portrait of Tracy in its earliest recorded form. Theres a whole goody bag of shit on here running from jazz standards and ballads to fusion and afro-cuban. So yeah, its groovy, its varied and its pretty awesome.
