Sometime in 2007, I uploaded the fantastic Teargas & Plateglass, and mentioned it was one of the few albums that honestly made me feel terrified while I listened to it. The first such album had to be this one, a classic now in music circles, and unfortunately given a lot of indie cred as a result, and you all know how irritating those guys can be.

It's a real shame, because this is one scary fucking album. This album will liquify your shit and make it leak out your ass. It's beautiful and pretty much made Godspeed the second biggest name in postrock (outside of Slint which now has ridiculous indie cred, but you know, Spiderland is a good album anyways, one of those deals).

If you don't have this album, what on earth. Get it already, put some headphones on, and hear one of the best albums of the 90s.

If you really don't get what it will sound like: look at the album cover.
